It was here that he embarked on his educational odyssey, earning successive degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences – a B. Pharm., M. Pharm., and ultimately, a Ph.D., a testament to his enduring commitment to academic excellence between 1989 and 1997.

From the GP Nair Memorial IDMA Gold Medal, recognizing his standing as the top performer in B. Pharm. examinations, to the UGC Junior Research Fellowship and the CSIR Senior Research Fellowship during his Ph.D. journey – his journey has been studded with milestones of excellence.
A staggering collection of more than 36 awards further embellishes his career narrative, with highlights such as the Distinguished Alumnus Award and the Global Teacher Award.
Prof. Singh’s professional voyage is marked by a diverse range of experiences in both academia and industry.
His roles have been as varied as a Formulation and Development Officer at Sun Pharma Advanced Research Centre, Baroda, to serving as a Lecturer at B.N. College of Pharmacy, Udaipur, and later, as a Professor and Head at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar (Uttarakhand).
He has contributed significantly as Director, of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Shobhit University, Meerut, U.P., and as Director-cum-Principal at the Govt. College of Pharmacy, Rohru, Shimla, H.P., among other pivotal positions.

A distinguishing feature of Prof. Singh’s passion lies in the design & development of novel drug delivery systems especially for oral route of drug administration. This interest has manifested in a plethora of publications exploring both novel and conventional oral drug delivery systems. Beyond the confines of research, Prof. Singh’s commitment to education is evident in his mentorship role.
He has guided thirty-eight M. Pharm. dissertations and twenty-six research scholars to Ph.D. degrees. Additionally, he has made 34 webinar appearances, serving as Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, or Resource Person.
