Dr Ranjan Modi (MD, DM) is a Gold Medalist Interventional Cardiologist at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. He performs coronary, carotid, peripheral, and structural interventions (TAVR/TAVI, TMVR), intravascular imaging (OCT/IVUS), pacemaker, and ICD implantation.
He completed his cardiology training at JN Medical College, Belgaum, Karnataka. He worked at Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi for his initial 3 years where he received the Best Junior Doctor award. He has presented in multiple national and international cardiology conferences and won awards in Poster and Platform presentations. He has more than 40 publications in peer-reviewed indexed International and National Journals and 5 chapters in cardiology books.
He has been awarded multiple accolades-“Young Medical Achiever of the Year 2019” by Indian Health Professional Awards, ”Young Researcher Award 2022” by Researchers Guild, and “Most Promising Cardiologist of the Year -2022” by Nationwide Health Care Awards by business mint.
Dr Ranjan has taken numerous lectures and CME on multiple cardiology topics for training doctors. He is not only a great achiever in the field of cardiology but also an entrepreneur and philanthropist. He co-founded a medical apparel company – Superscrubs and runs a charitable NGO “ Save the Heart Foundation “ which provides free cardiology check-ups and camps for the underprivileged.
Dr Ranjan has been involved in many international clinical trials and has been a reviewer for many acclaimed cardiology journals.
